Why is Phoenix Life stuck in the industrial age? Their service is embarrassing and archaic to say the least. What company in 2022 only receives and sends documents via post opposed to email? How caught up on the 1900s are you that you refuse to conduct majority of your business over email? Worse yet, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Your communication is POOR on every single front and you need to seriously re-consider and re-evaluate your entire customer service process.

It's all well and good buying up every company under the sun, fair play to you for doing so, but at least have the courtesy to make the transition simple and easy to manage. I have to speak to 4 different offices, 6 different people, spend an hour on the phone, jump through 17 hoops and give you the deed to my soul just to get through to the right person, just to THEN be told that you received my email but ignored it because you only operate through post. Trying to use your website is like trying to navigate the bermuda triangle with a twig and some scissors.

The list of things you should be working on improving with great urgency gets longer as each day passes and you show little evidence of trying to make such improvements. I sincerely hope you take what I and the many others who review you so poorly on board; because if not, you'll soon realise buying up as many companies as you can is not a long-term success strategy when your service is a plague in this industry.

I can fully understand why this company has such a low star rating. I have not received my pension payment now for over 6 months. Phoenix refuse to tell me why by email saying they can only respond by mail. I have been waiting for over 2 months for a letter from them. I live in a village in Turkey and mail services generally in Turkey are abysmal, especially if you live in a village. I have advised Phoenix that there are many ways these days to communicate on the Internet securely.

These guys are Cow boy with Texan hats, 43 minutes before I get through and then another 14 before the line goes dead. This was the 6th time I rang the designated number and got no reply the first 5 times.

Abbey life robbed me of my home my goods and my car by fraud in 1990 hide behind FSA NEW LAW forgiving all sins and given six months to sign to clear the name of these companies selling insurance pensions mortgages at your door without invite. Got me days before close down date and so could not have justice in court they got way with it. To this day owe cash on what they cooked up to ruin me.

Never been able to recover from what they evilly did to me. Soon as I started my own payback they shifted into Pheonix life to hide again. One Devils run unit Abbey Life one by one ill take them down I swear

Answered the phone almost immediately and was able to help with two inquiries. Very pleased.

Awful service and silly delay tactics to pay out. Avoid this company, I have spent hours on the phone constantly chasing and who ever i speak to gives me a different answer get 2 letters on the same day both telling me different things.
