From our office in Whittlesey town centre we have provided an insurance brokerage service for more than 30 years. Whilst we specialise in trikes, motorhomes, classic vehicles and haulage vehicle operators, we also provide cover for business, home and travel insurance policies. In fact we are able to arrange cover for virtually all forms of insurance for our clients.
At Whittlesey, we provide affordable, high-quality trike insurance for owners of all varieties of trike. For trike owners, it can be difficult to find the right level of coverage at a good price. There are very few trike insurance providers and those that do frequently charge high premiums. If you go through a general motorcycle insurance company, you may find yourself paying more than you need to for trike cover or find you're not covered when you need to make a claim.At Whittlesey, we understand that trikes are different to both cars and other motorbikes.
We provide a range of motor insurance policies that can include Comprehensive cover for all types of vehicle including classic cars, taxis, trikes and quad bikes as well as motor trade cover, both road risks only and full package cover. We also arrange insurance for vans, trucks, lorries and also fleet cover.
For most Motorhome owners, your vehicle is your pride and joy and the source of countless adventures. It is also usually a significant investment and a complex piece of machinery. A Motor Caravan comes with all the technical requirements of a large van and those of a caravan, rolled into one. Unfortunately, accidents can and do happen, sometimes causing significant damage to a Motorhome.

Been using this place for 30 years started with motorhome insurance and have been dealing with my landlord insurance for most of the time. Caroline and Micheal recognise my voice when I call. Great service always come up with the answers.

Have held insurance for a trike with Whittlesey for about 10 years now, staff are all friendly and efficient and prices are competitive if not the cheapest would highly recommend

Tried ringing, no answer. Tried website, nothing loads, tried googling them, there is no details about them or opening hours, and their website doesn't even appear in the results which shows it hasn't worked in a very long time as Google no longer index it! I'm a customer and it's impossible to get hold of them.

Well where to begin.? Having been a loyal and satisfied customer for 7 years my ageing motor home was coming to the end of its serviceable life. I was contemplating a new one but compelled in February to insure the old one (which was inevitably headed for the scrap yard) for another year in order to have the requisite insurance cover to get the tax disc to alleviate a fine.

You know the score So I call Whittlesey to clarify the terms surrounding cancellation and am advised 'as long as you cancel within 90 days of inception not a problem' Well TRUST ME it was problem. I called 6 weeks later to 'cancel' having procured a new motor home and all appeared well Umpteen calls later (over a 6 week period) I am being given the distinct 'runaround' and eventually end up talking to a 'Michael Payne' who tells me quite categorically that he 'doesn't care' that I am disgruntled and extremely unhappy with regard to his 'attitude' in our discussion about the refund to which I had already ascertained I was perfectly entitled After 2 months I receive today (12-06-14) a refund cheque for a paltry 49.45 against a premium paid of 275.

So I have been ripped off to the tune of 225 for a mere 6 weeks cover. Whittlesey Insurance terms and conditions state that they are entitled to a service fee of up to 75 in the event of premature cancellation. I wouldn't have had a problem with that but when my wife queried it she was told in the most arrogant manner possible by Mr Payne to go read the 'terms and conditions' of her policy. (see above) Our advice would be to avoid this company like the PLAGUE Their after sales service is SIMPLY APPALLING!
