We visited here for the first time today. We was lucky with the weather. But rain or shine it's an absolutely beautiful place to visit. We loved seeing the wild sheep, pity some people pay no attention to the signs about it being lambing season and to keep your dog's on leads. We saw a few dog's chasing and scaring the sheep . Our children really enjoyed dipping there feet in the stream.
We climbed a steep hill and walked a narrow path with stunning views but a scary drop, I don't know how the sheep do it. We sat and had a picnic within this beautiful peaceful setting. We will definitely be back. Recommend to anyone who enjoys the beauty of natural area's, and if you enjoy walking.

From the youngest to the oldest; the casual and more serious walkers, one will find something here at Long Mynd. On the Queen's Jubilee holiday, the weather was dry, with bursts of glorious sunshine. We enjoyed the hilly views, the children the streams, and the resident sheep made the hills very close and accessible indeed. The varied paths showed different facets of the hills, the faces of brown and green, rugged and smooth. You feel like you can touch the clouds (but not quite). Highly recommended.

Beautiful little find. 5 entry fee for parking only take contactless payment (no cash). Lovely valleys with the sheep and baby lambs wondering freely about the valleys. The scenery is great when you climb further up the valleys. The waterfall was a beautiful scene. Great trekking for all. Quite a few school trips were present on the day. Spent about 3-4 hours here.
There is a public toilet and cafe on site, serving cakes, crisps, ice lollies, hot drinks etc. Would definitely recommend a visit and will be returning back. Appropriate footwear recommended if climbing the limestone rocks and steep valleys.

Went there for the first outing of the new year. Absolutely loved it. Plenty parking space, pay and display or pay using the app. Currently 5 all day. Machines don't accept card payments though. Small cafe there for food and drinks. A little pricey I felt, for what it is, 5 for a bacon bap/roll? Anyway.the pristine hills make up for it. The ascent up the valley can be quite challenging in places so bring your walking legs! Well signposted and pretty much litter free all along the way. You're rewarded with fantastic views over the Shropshire hills, absolutely beautiful!

A rewarding and beautiful experience to be able to contemplate beautiful landscapes, streams and waterfalls, I liked doing the long mynd and I did it in 4 hours because I took my time and also I was taking photos! You can get to the top by car too; I saw many using bikes or running! I was walking at a good trot, I was in no hurry. There are 3 hikes, a short one, a medium one and the long one which I did. Bring some sandwiches, juices or water to be able to take strength if you do the long way.
