Hi, I contacted insurefor today as I made an error when creating my policy. initially I tried to use the live chat option as i did think the phone lines would be busy with all the trouble with airlines cancelling flights. In the live chat I was assisted by Sophie who was fast responding to my messages and extremally helpful and knowable to help me with my issue, as it was an amendment I required this could not be completed in the live chat and Sophie arranged for one of her colleges to contact me.

I was then contacted straight away by Lorene ( apologies if I have the name incorrect ) but her extension number is 4842 again extremely helpful, knowledgeable and came across really approachable. Obviously travel at the minute is quite stressful so speaking and being assisted by professional helpful people is amazing.

I cancelled my policy with them and it took over 2 months to receive a refund (over 6 phone calls and 4 emails). They only finally processed my refund when I said I was taking the issue to the financial ombudsman

Probably the worst customer service experience I've had. Take a week off if you want to phone them. Impossible to get through, whatever time you call. Line constantly engaged or if you do get an answer, you are held in a queue until you get fed up and leave after half an hour.

Took money out of my account without any warning. They take money out via another company called ROCK Insurance Group. This has been coming out for the last 3 years, with no contact details after they take payments out. They do not send emails to warn (as this wouldn't benefit them). Never dealt directly with these before because they are a trade name for other insurances so it helps protect the brands of other insurance groups and allows them to continue charging people with no means of contacting. Very dodgy way to go about business.
