I am a realtor located in Dallas TX and I had a client looking to get his house Morgage loan from HSBC. He has a foreigner income. They screw him up big time by keep delaying and delaying. My client which is the buyer about to lose his Ernest money and seller will enforce the contract to purchase the house. My client did all his due diligent submitting all necessary paperwork request from the underwriter on time. I don't recommend to obtain your Morgage from HSBC. Very poor service and careless employees

I am looking at an address in south Dallas for this institution while being told on the phone there are no offices in Texas and will need to drive to California to deliver Power of Attorney paperwork in order to close an account for an elderly family member who is in hospice care with the dementia. REALLY? You cannot take a FAX and you cannot see that indeed there is an office in Dallas (about 2 hours from me)? If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

They Get you with low rate advertising and soft check to have no impact on your credit, but you end up with hard inquiry and high rate, I have excellent credit history and never paid high interest and I made a big mistake to trust this people.

HSBC is horrible. Bank to Bank transfers take 3 business days, address update takes 2-3 business days and sending a check takes 7-10 business days. Looks like they are stuck in the 1990s.

Tried to call HSBC merely to ask a simple question about a wire transfer to an HSBC account holder. Still waiting to connect with someone who can help me. It's now one hour and counting and endless waiting and numerous redirects. Indicative of horrific corporate management over routine operations.

The worst phone customer service, ever! After calling for 9 days straight, turns out the lock on my credit card is because I need to make a payment! My payment is not even due, yet! And so far I've been calling for 2 days trying to make a payment! I keep getting connected and redirected with no clear answer! I'm gonna cancel my credit card account.

Very inept in both North American countries. 2 US agents could not give me their Dallas hours or address or any fax #, even until my baby was crying after almost 90 mins on the phone at a hospital. SMH

I moved so changed address online, received email verification of updated address. I checked the online banking too, the address was updated. So, A week after that, l applied a credit card with them by phone, provided my new address. Today, l receive an email tell me that the credit card has been shipped and it is shipped to my old address. I check the online banking find my address is changed back to the old one.

When l am working, my phone is not with me, so I missed a few unknown phone call these days, l guess it might be them. They didn't try to reach out to me by email or text messages, and changed my address back without my approval. Don't they know people need to work and couldn't get phone call? And their stupid trying to verify my address by phone also postpone the receiving of my credit card l believe.

I also have to pay usps $1 to forward this mail to my new address. They ask people's all addresses in the past 3 years, but still couldn't send mail to the correct address. Also many other inconveniences with their online banking. My money is still save, at least the correct amount and bonus is still shown online. They didn't deny my credit card application because of the address issue. So 2 stars.
