My elderly parents has been purchasing insurance for many years for a number of properties. Filed a claim for damaged chimney due to a weather (hurricane) and was denied. Philadelphia Contributionship uses a third party claims adjustor was not customer relations sensitive and plain rude. Would give them negative stars if I could. Will file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner. Insurance buyers be aware!

Crawford & Company is who UPS outsources their Capital [expensive] Claims out to. They fought me tooth and nail when UPS lost a laptop that I shipped and ended up paying me out UNDER what the laptop would cost to replace even though I insured it at full value in case it was damaged or lost. It's funny that they get to loose your stuff and decide what amount they want to pay you out at too, even if it means it's not enough to replace the item, which in this case it clearly wasn't. Lesson learned, UPS nor Crawford will ever see a dime from me and I'm definitely spreading the word to warn the next guy/girl.
