Flint Insurance has been trading since 1983, starting life as high street insurance brokers, first in Harrow and then Sidcup. As these high street brokers evolved and the business landscape changed it was a natural progression to combine them into our current site altogether in Orpington. In response to market demands we opened a 'motor fleet outpost' in Chelmsford in 2011 to service our clients and underwriters in and around that locale.

I've had my insurance (Both business and personal) with Flint for a number of years now. I've always been a bit sceptical of using brokers, I'm one of those people who thinks I'm sure I can get a better deal if I do it myself. After the theft of my car (house broken in to and keys stolen) they took over the claim with utter professionalism, without the help of Flint I believe my claim would not only have taken considerably more time, but would have resulted in a much lower payout. Not long had my motor fleet insurance with them,one of our commercial vehicles was involved in an non fault claim,worst company I have ever dealt with,2 weeks have passed now & still nothing has been done,no replacement vehicle,have phoned everyday to be promised call backs with updates,still waiting,definitely would not recommend them,very unhappy with customer service

Have my Home Insurance through Flint, and was advised about a cheaper quote for my renewal through them, via a different underwriter. Made it simple and easy for me to update my quote for extra cover at the point of renewals as well. Was also the cheapest quote I had, with the same cover. Very helpful service! Would highly recommend.
