Poor customer service I had cancel my insurance because customer service is very very poor. I make quote for insurance, my deposit was 65. After 3 days I had call to cancellation the customer service told me I had to pay 20 for cancellation. When I checked in my bank account they refund me 9. 65-20 never will be 9.

Try to pay my renewal for the year in full- on hold for 40 mins of my lunch and 30 mins after work until they closed. Call the new policy line after reading these reviews and got through straight away.renewal is still new business so why not prioritise that? It just makes customers want to email and cancel the renewal and go elsewhere

Dreadful company! Used the online account to opt out of auto renewals, but they still renewed the policy, no call backs given when promised, emails not answered. terrible customer service - avoid at all costs!

This company is a total untrustworthy when it comes to a change. They inflated the price by more than 50% for a change of a vehicle and charged 371 for cancellation fees despite not using adds on or made any claim. I believe they're doing this to make people stay with their company. I think financial conduct needs to verify them because they're threatening people with their hidden costs. I demanded a breakdown and the reason while the cancellation fees was very high but no explanation.

They make it impossible to cancel by phone. i waited over 2hours to be cut off. they wont answer calls unless its sales and will tell you you need to pay several fees to leave by email

After 48 years with insurance companies insuring my vehicles, I have never come across a company like this one for waiting 30minutes on the phone for a response and end up ringing off. To only give me half of my nbc and having no way of contacting them about it. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Glad I never needed to claim. The company they bought out was brilliant, so stayed until they informed that they can no longer insure my vehicles. Gave no reason as to why. Shocking service. You can see from the 1 star reviews that its not an isolated case, and they don't care!

EXTORTIONATE FEES I was charged a quarter of the annual car policy to cancel it after a month. The fees are beyond anything I've ever seen on any other insurance company. No less than extortion. PLEASE AVOID ITS NOT WORTH THE RISK

Informed them I didn't want to renew. I then get debt collectors after me. I called them so many times waiting ages on hold, reassured it's sorted and chased further by their collectors! Promised calls back and nothing! Email and nothing! POOR POOR service, lack care and give only lip service! Affecting my credit score all for a shoddy broker

Do not go with these people, worst experience in the 10 years of driving. never answer the phones, if you do phone to make a new policy as that's the only people who seem to answer (what a joke) and some how when trying to sort things the price of my policy kept going up and up. spend extra few and go with someone who has a better custom service. WORST CAR INSURANCE COMPANY EVER

Horrific experience with Brightside Car Insurance over the past year. Impossible to get through on the phone, often waiting over an hour to speak with someone to simply question my increase in renewal price. Impossible to cancel due to lack of responsiveness - and then want to charge an admin fee for cancelling after you finally get through (even though you attempt to cancel several times).
