I insured my car with Chris Knott for 6 years consecutively. I'd never missed a payment, paying monthyvia direct debit and taking an instant renewal each year without a seconds hesitation. I recently had to sell my car for financial reasons and obviously had to cancel my insurance. I've now received a letter stating that I have to pay 109.28 in cancellation fees. Great company, just don't have any issues before your renewal is up cos they'll kick you in the backside for it. I won't be using their services in the future.

Use to be cheap however they don't like high performance SUVs and actually even a 9 year old E class coupe. It works out to be so much more money than the comparison sites. I've been trying them for the past 2-3 years and they aren't competitive at all.

Been with this broker for years, its worth paying a small premium for, easy to get hold of on the phone and the one time I had to claim 3 years ago, they delat with everything.

I have had insurance with Chris Knott since 2001 roughly for car insurance, home insurance not as long, I have passed thier details to many of my friends. I paid a premium on my home insurance which was nearly double what other people were quoting but Chris Knott assured me they only use the best companies who give the best customer service, this year we had to use our accidental damage policy unfortunately, 1 for a Mac computer at the turn of the year and another for an I pad Pro last month that was damaged, because we made 2 claims in a year this is the result in my next years quote out of thier panel of insures. I'm absolutely gob smacked and appalled at this as a quote for house insurance for a 2 bedroom terraced house.

Old school insurance instead of the cold big company's, can't do another to help

My wife and I are now into our 3rd year with Chris Knott and I have to say that they are absolutely brilliant. The staff are so helpful and will do everything they can to be as accommodating as possible. Even when you are starting to doubt that you will be renewing and you are convinced, they will pull something out of the bag to amaze you once again and reward you for choosing them. Top service, with excellent customer care.

Use them for both vehicle and home contents insurance, excellent value for both and a good personal service. Highly reccomended company away from the mainstream dross.

Very good service indeed, the usual annual dance by insurers wanting higher premium for a different vehicle but with the same performance. CKI went back to insurers with quotes I had obtained online and insurers matched the other quotes. I can also recommend their claims service.

Having phoned this company for a car insurance quotation, I explained that I have two cars one has its insurance due next week ad the other in May. I explained that I pay 216 for one and have paid 370 for the second. I was ten told that I have to state which car my 9 years no claims bonus applies to? I stated that I believe that the bonus applies to both cars?

I was then told that this is not possible as the bonus can only apply to one not both and unless I can state which car has the full bonus they would not be able to help me. I then phoned A Plan insurers and was told that they can and have applied 9 years No claims discount to both cars, as only one car can be driven at any one time. This makes a lot of sense to me, so I would advise you to go to A Plan and not Chris Knott if you have two cars.

Fantastic company, I've insured for the last few years and will definitely be using them again! You get to speak to knowledgable advisors who advise the best policy, which for me on a 335D worked out hundreds of pounds less than anyone else. The best thing is hardly any waiting times on the phone and you get to speak to people who can make the magic happen! Very pleased.

Brilliant insurer. I've got my Fiesta ST insured with these guys and the price and service is fantastic. I called up to add a SS Exhaust system to my policy. No change to cost and no fee! I got my wife to get her MX5 California insured with them and she got a discount as I was already a policy holder! They've been the only company to write her less than 500, and my less than 400! Highly recommended

Great place to get your insurance. They've sorted me out a few times over the past few years and have taken a lot of the pain out of getting a decent deal. They are decent people who are keen to get you the best deal without scrimping on the service. Special thanks to Daryl for being particularly accommodating and helpful.
