Collins Stuart & Co Stuart Collins & Co Established 1969 has been running a scheme for the past 30 years offering a motor policy for UK registered Cars (Left or Right hand drive) with annual foreign use. This is a UK motor policy, therefore, it includes use here also without limit of time. The policy documentation includes an Annual Green Card. It is a fact that European Authorities are used to seeing them and it may make your life easier when travelling. We are able to arrange an Annual Breakdown/Accident scheme for our motor policy clients to a specification that we find ideal in that it has a quality provider.

Stuart Collins & Co was established in 1969 in order to transact General Insurance for niche markets. For over 52 years we have relied and operated on personal service to our clients. We are Independent Intermediaries who act as your agent and offer a range of products with a number of Insurers. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), registration number 305940.
We offer Motor Policies for UK registered vehicles that are outside UK Long Term. The policy provides the full cover selected across the 28 states of the EU plus Norway, Serbia and Switzerland. An annual Green Card is included with the cover papers. When circumstances dictate the vehicle may be left abroad whilst the insured is in UK.
We are now able to arrange Breakdown/Accident assistance to a specification we find just about ideal (good quality provider, no limit on time in Europe, also UK, no limit to age of car) for a fee of 190.00 pounds. We feel that clients do not need to feel exposed by being stranded by Accident or Breakdown.

We suggest that in the first instance you contact us, we have a phone number that you may use from outside UK which enables you to report the incident to AXA Insurance, and you may be contacted by their European claims department.If you are involved in an accident the claim numbers are 00 44 121 698 8979 from countries outside the UK and 0121 698 8979 from the UK.

During 2020 I required european car insurance cover to commute to my home in Portugal. After approaching various Companies most of which couldn't provide the cover required I made contact with Mia at Stuart Collins & Co. She provided a suitable quotation within 20 mins of my call to her, placing me on cover and has continued to provide excellent customer service through the 2 year policy plan I held.

Unfortunately my circumstances have now changed and I no longer require the same level of european cover. I would highly recommend Stuart Collin & Co (especially Mia) to arrange insurance to anyone.

Critical: Professionalism You can't obtain a quote in the first instance by talking to a representative. They ask you to fill in an online form, and then call you back! What's the point in that. Either make the online quote process automatic or talk to your clients at the point of first contact.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Jan at Stuart Collins. She replied to my query quickly, and then again when I had questions. I considered the policy quite good value considering what it offers and the level of service I received. Yes it is more expensive than my previous policy but i'm very pleased. I'm sick of dealing with providers where I'm on hold forever or can't get a reply! This company are professional and responsive.

I used Stuart Collins last year and despite it being a little pricey, it was easy and pleasant to set up. This year when I tried to renew it, I had a completely different experience. I filled out an online quote, which I then had to keep chasing them about and was only met with 'check your spam inbox' for 2 days. When they finally sent it to my other email, I continued to have to chase them for the rest of the week to get the insurance completed.

I was finally met with a series of very informal and rude emails from Stuart. When I sent him over my phone number (which I can confirm was checked and was typed out correctly) this is what I recieved: Not that "great".cos the number does not work. Mia now laying in a darkened room.ball now in your court.we open again at 2.00pm. Regards Stuart It was overall a very long winded and unprofessional experience that I did complain about, which ended in this email from Stuart: Really Chloe? in 52 years of running this business I have never experienced someone quoting a phone number that does not work.and when it is raised get an answer such as yours.

We are closing our file. Regards Stuart I am genuinely shocked at this level of professionalism and also really disappointed because I simply just wanted to renew my insurance because I was a trusting client. Stuart, I hope you are ok during these uncertain times of lockdown, but I do think a little bit of adjustments need doing when it comes to your client interaction.

Some years ago we were insured by Stuart Collins when we went to live in France. We had one accident and they were so helpful. Need some more insurance now for some flexible travel across Europe and once again, the service has been impeccable and their quotes are really reasonable. Thank you all at Stuart Collins.
