I did an online car insurance policy via Go Compare. The best price for me. On occasions I have needed to speak to City Insurance. They are Insurance Brokers. They deal with you quickly, efficiently and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend them, especially if you like to speak to someone in person. There is a wonderful young lady I spoke to called Jess. Very nice service and great telephone skills.

I made my car insurance through a broker with this company which was fraud scam I'm suffering from pots of problem and I did call this broker may be 100 times to inform him that police caught me on the road while I was driving and I didn't know that I don't have a valid insurance. It wasn't my fault because all the emails and relevant information they were dealing I didn't get any information. I gave all the chat and phone call recording to police to do further investigation and help me out of it.

City Insurance cancelled our new policy within a week of starting without sufficient contact or warning. It was only by chance that I saw an unusual (partial) refund on my bank account that I realised something was wrong. No phone calls, no letters, although I have since found an email from them in my spam folder. So, I have been driving around this week not realising that I'm not insured - Unbelievable.
In 30 years of motoring, I have never experienced such irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour from an insurance company. Looking at some of the reviews it appears this is not an uncommon outcome with this outfit. Do yourself a favour and pay a bit extra elsewhere - I wish I had as I'm now 105 out of pocket.

The after care service from City Insurance Group has been phenomenal. I had an issue with my new provider and everyone I spoke to from CIG were very quick to respond and able to resolve my issue. Tbh - I wish I hadn't gone with the new provider. cheapest quote isn't always the best decision! I'll remember for next year.

Cancelled my insurance and charged 95 for the pleasure after they requested proof of address and before i had chance to send it in. No follow up phone call just an easily missed email. Poor quality phone lines, hard to hear/understand, lines were out of action for 24h when attempting to contact. Beware this seems to have happened to lots with this company, its clearly how they think they can make some extra money.
