Would give them zero stars if I could after 8 years of having my boat insurance with them I cancelled as I sold this boat and the refund was abysmal be warned if you pay annually avoid this broker the reviews are speaking for them self

About to cancel my policy, took out caravan insurance and the documents I was sent make no mention of the caravan, what's covered etc, just insurance documents which could be for anything. Do not recommend these people.

I did ask for a refund on my caravan insurance after I cancelled it, and I been told that I am not due a refund, despite the fact that I only had the insurance for two months. I will recommend to avoid this broker.

Really poor customer service, cancelled a house insurance policy with them and we are owed money as we paid annually. Over 2 weeks later no confirmation of the cancellation and no refund, rang on many occasions and promised that I will be called back and nobody gets in touch. Please stay clear of this company.

Ok, I worked for CETA for two years and must say never a day went by without hearing laughter. The staff do the best they can and try and help as best they can. They get looked after by the bosses with decent time off and summer events and a great Christmas party. On the flip side, the pay is alright, nothing special and it's a bit of a clique within the supervisor/lower managerial side but it's tolerable.

If you are interested in insurance then it's a good place to start and get some training in. Once that's done, move on. *Update* 2022 tried calling to get a quote and either the staff aren't trained properly or they just don't care. Terrible phone service and completely amateur staff. Avoid.

It took 2 attempt to speak to s9meone about my house insurance and when I did finally git to speak to someone they confused me about how much the slates cover the roof of my house simply because at the back of my house separate from the slates there is a cold room and they didn't know what I meant when I tryed to explain the cold room was a separate roof to the tiled part of the house.

Unable to make simple changes to policy despite multiple attempts to do so by phone and email. Promised returned calls not forthcoming, emails ignored. Constantly told by people answering phone that they can't help - (they don't help that's for sure). Frustrating beyond belief.

Honestly think these guys are a scam, been trying to ring to log a claim on my house insurance and every day i ring (multiple times in the day) i get through to sales and get told claims line is unavailable due to call volume. Funny sales is alive and kicking and claims is constantly under large call volumes!? Email has been sent and obviously no reply with that either. BUYER BEWARE! Going to start a credit card charge chargeback and get in touch with the underwriters and the insurance regulators to report these cowboys.

I've been trying to get my policy documents sent to me since September concerning an ongoing claim. They keep passing me around or worse still, saying they were going to send me them immediately by e mail and then not doing so. Been paying liability insurance through ceta for 10 years and first time I've tried to make a claim. Surely they're obliged to provide my documents?

The service from the agent that I was dealing with was very bad, never returned my emails and was so inexperienced, should never have been let loose selling Insurance. When I wanted to move my boat to a mooring in a Marina she told me it was uninsurable? On calling another Broker I obtained insurance in 20 mins with very satisfactory proffessional service.

We have been trying to call throughout the day to discuss an accident we had yesterday. From when they opened to when they closed. The last time we called we were on the phone for almost 3hours trying to get through. We have tried both phone numbers given on the website. My husband has also emailed and had no reply. Absolutely shocking customer service.

Trying to call them from Thursday to add a Professional indemnity, twice been told someone will call me back! unfortunately no one called. Tryed again Saturday as google stated opon until 5pm, the automatic answer machine advice its close on Saturday. If i saved all the wasted time to shop aroud definitely will find better inssurance. DO NOT USE Disgraceful customer service, completely not professional, after 20 years of us paying this company they don't even have the decency to contact us back to discuss 1st claim put in with this organisation after being with them for over 20 years. The most disgraceful part is that they are taking advantage of people who are vulnerable and in a no win, no help situation.

We have called, emailed, they originally passed the blame and excuses to their 'broker' but the 'broker' referred back to CETA Insurance Ltd. Classless behaviors and conduct from this firm. I will be advising not to use their service to my contacts and on other social media platforms. Integrity, customer service and empathy are words NEVER to be associated with this company.

Just to prove a point, they responded and they use the same response to every review - copy, paste the same response, generic email and landline number posted by the 'company owner'
