I had a motor renewal quote which was a little on the high side, but after updating my information, a member of the team, JC5, was able to match a competitor's quote, which is absolutely brilliant. He was great! One Call have been excellent throughout our time with them. They just need to sort out the call back issue, which did not work for me on the 12th October! Otherwise, all good thank you.

I had to change the date on a home policy I purchased yesterday to the day before the start date I had given them, as I had got it wrong. The Agent SP6 helped me through the process, she was competent and polite. There was no charge as it was only yesterday I took out the Insurance. The policy was very competitive compared with other companies.

I have been with Onecall insurance for a year now and when it came to renewal the price was much higher than I expected. I tried to cancel the auto renewal but I was unable to as you have to do it 21days prior to date.
I have called the renewal number and was on hold for about 40 minutes but eventually got through. I have spoken to nice man who has managed to take the premium to a manageable figure. (FF2)
I just wish the process was a bit more customer friendly as you can’t always sort things online and sometimes it’s just easier to speak to real person.

I contacted the renewal team as the premium had gone up hugely. The lady I spoke to was very friendly, efficient and helpful. She managed to get the premium down to a great price. She also called me back when the phone cut out for which I was very grateful. Excellent customer service from employee ref number ET3 at One Call.

Trying to get hold of anyone by phone or getting the right department on the online chat is diabolical. Never experienced anything like it before. I've excepted a quote off them on a comparison site, and can't get to speak to anyone, even online chat, which told me I contacted the wrong department. Massive queues on the online chat. Horrendous.

AVOID Onecall at all cost. A DISHONEST COMPANY I applied through a comparison site and answered all questions truthfully. OneCalls quote came back (not the cheapest) so I accepted it. 2 hours later I received an email stating that I had been refused Insurance NO REASON WAS GIVEN. I contacted them and they refused to give me the reason. Because OneCall Insurance refused me Insurance I now have to declare it on future applications.

I went to another 2 Insurance provider who also refused me Insurance because although they could find no reason to not insure me because OneCall had they decided not to insure me because Onecall would not give me the reason why. I started the complaints process 12 days later I received an email stating 1) that my address did not validate when I had already told them I was staying at my parents address - Why could they not have told me this? 2) I had been refused insurance before but they did not know which company has refused me so they couldnt tell me who it was.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN REFUSED INSURANCE BEFORE AND THIS IS A BLATANT LIE. I have requested an application for a FOI Request and I am in contact with the Ombudsman. I have now found an Insurance provider.

Hi. I called regarding the possible transfer of a recent new policy on my car insurance to a new vehicle. Only a small queue on text chat. Then Chelsea sorted out my additional driver add on. Then was given options that I'd not thought of. Brilliant service easy to understand questions and options. One of the cheapest insurance companies about but still managed to keep me happy. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. No chance of getting angry here - smiles all the way. We have been with One call for just over a year now. We had our renewal letter through and contacted them regarding the increase. They managed to get us a better quote than we had the previous year with even lower excess all via an online chat which was great.customer service is great. Our cover level is brilliant and our policy is cheap.win- win. Thankfully we have not had to make a claim on the policy but I see the claims line is advertised well. I would definitely recommend getting a quote with One call as they have many optional extras which come standard all for great prices!

Very pleased with the service I received, which has always been good. I would recommend Lauren, who dealt with my call. She sorted my queries very efficiently, but then took time to clarify the rest of the cover on my insurance. I was very satisfied with the experience. Been insured for 2 years, best price I found at the time and a good service as far as I've used. Had a breakdown very recently and called the provided number. Was estimated 60 - 90 minutes for a mechanic who actually turned up in 40 mins and had me on the road in 10. Customer service agent GA2 provided a great service. I was asked to mention this in my review and I'm happy to do so.

Have been with One Call a number of years for insurance. Always competitively priced and I liked the ease of uploading documents to their online portal. Just 4 stars due to the painfully slow chat when I needed to cancel the policy due to selling the car. It took 40 minutes, with many minutes between each reply. It could have been done in 10. A disappointing end to otherwise good service.

Absolutely shocking experience with this company. Was quoted an additional premium of over 300 just to change my address, bearing in mind I only had 2 months left on my policy. They wanted the money up front and when trying to speak to someone on the phone I was informed they only operated with live chat. The live chat suddenly disconnected and I then received an email that they were cancelling my policy. Save your money - do not recommend!

As a customer of more than a few renewals I would expect some loyalty on their part to ensure they retain my custom. Unfortunately the scripted approach from Chris at One Call was far from having me feel valued or tailored to my needs. I am now in a 14 day period where I will be looking elsewhere for my renewal. Considering they have no phone lines and limited overheads other than their claims team which is a 3rd party they should be a market leader on price, just a simple comparison search shows them to be lacking on even a pricing front - that too by over 30%. Disappointed with the whole conversation today!

I've been trying to pay for some insurance your company wrote and I didn't want or need because I had sold my bike months before because I'm chronically ill by the way. You sent me a letter on the 2nd of December telling me to pay within 14 days. Then on the 6th of December another letter with added charges from your debt department. I thought sod it I'll pay to get it out the way.

Even though I feel like I'm being scammed. Your cancelation process is stupid. This is a total rip off. You Scum bag rip off merchants. Your reviews are made up. Because I did one and it is not on the page. I'm not trying again and will report this to trading standards. It's only 128 quid ffs.

Online Chat with JD7 was excellent. He was really helpful and helped to clarify my queries for first time insurance for my 18 year old. The policy is expensive but cheaper than confused.com quotes and the cheapest I could find fully comp without a black box. Documents would not open but the online chat was patient and finally found a way to send me the information.

As I have only just organised this policy and note others appear to have had issue with this company I intend to leave further feedback in the future, however, I can not fault the online support. Further to my previous comments. I did give 4 stars originally and thought about 5. I am now giving one star after trying to pay online for over 1 hour. The system would not accept 3 different card details.

The online chat was trying to help but I was not comfortable being asked for a screenshot with all the card details. It was not sent. After being advised to refresh the page and told the details would not be lost, I refreshed and all details were lost and the chat was abruptly ended. I tried to restart the chat and could not as the office hours were changed from 8pm to 5,30pm while I was online! When I went in to retrieve the quote it was not longer valid despite my attempting to purchase it for over 1 hour! Very, Very unimpressed with this companies online system.

Avoid these thieves like the plague. I cancelled my home insurance renewal and received confirmation of this by both email and letter. I had cancelled the direct debit with my bank as I wasn't renewing. These cowboys then set up a new direct debit and started taking payments for a policy they had confirmed wasn't being renewed. I'm now in the process of claiming the money back and will be taking this further. Avoid at all costs.

Worst insurance ever, cancelled and 2 months later get a letter from the same company now called : One Call Debt Recovery , obviously 2 people sitting in a room. They charged me 112.47 for leaving and then have the cheek to charge 25 for collection. Don't join trhis company, they are a joke! They also have loads of fake reviews, obviously bought!

Spent several days trying to contact them - phone number 01302 567044 not in service; live chat not working; customer portal broken for several days; claim second year car insurance is on continuous renewal - it isn't, ; second year costs up by 30% and at least £100 more expensive than with LV. Worst car insurance I have ever had.

Awful Company, they know how legally still money from you. After pay my car insurance policy in full suddenly after 20 days they have charged £200 more on my credit card supposedly for fault claim. Funny enough they do an automatic renewal of your policy, they don't ask questions they just take your money. And then they can overcharged without notification because they are brokers and the insurance just notify them. Excuse me?

I feel robbed. Then they offer you £24 compensation. The worse of all you can't do much as if you cancel the insurance you will have to pay a stupid amount to them. Stilling legally again

I have recently taken out. House insurance with One Call Insurance I was
Impressed with the amount of cover for the price I was paying !! Especially as our previous insurers were cutting some things on the insurance but at the same time asking for higher premiums!! I also was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by pleasant young man KT9 who phoned us to check if we had read through, and were happy with everything. He also checked with us that cover for emergencies was adequate too(we already had boiler cover with boiler company)

Liars and fraudsters. Liars and fraudsters. Up until recently I had this insurer for my hubby's car. Then weeks after policy finished they raided the bank card for just over 103 for no reason and without warning (despite promising and emailing to say on the 5th feb that the card authority had been cancelled their end). Went on live chat and on many occasions I caught the operator (Claire t) on lies (that's how blatant she was) and agent Also argued and heavily insinuated I was the liar (I asked for info on how to send a file over to her to back my claims and she ignored this).

I was promised a email from a manager - but nothing. Next day back onto chat and spoke with Aaron c and again just like the previous agent I caught him out telling lies on many occasions. The excuse for no email "oh well we have 48 hrs" well why not say that previously. Still waiting for my email from the manager - the only thing that coincides with the two agents is that the manager is a she. PLEASE PLEASE I URGE ANYONE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I would not recommend this company at all. I had to change my house insurance mid policy due to moving house. They gave me the option of either increasing the cost of the policy considerably or paying a ridiculously high cancellation fee. I had no alternative but to continue with the policy but told them not to renew the policy when the year was up.

They didn't cancel it and then charged me another 133 to cancel a policy I had not agreed to. They are absolutely ruthless and an embarrassment to their profession. Stay well clear of them.

I did a quick search for a better priced car insurance. One Call Insurance came out tops, CF2 called me the following day and left a voice mail. A couple of days later I called and spoke with CF2, I had a couple of questions which she answered. She was very thougher and patient the whole experience was painless. I will recommend to family and friends.

my mother moved house on the 12th of October, she has been insured with one call from may, so not too long.
upon contacting one call to let them know about the address change, they said that it is not possible to update to your new address due to the insurance company (Ageas) not covering that area.....
we will give you 7 days before WE cancel your policy. we can set up a new policy for you though at more than DOUBLE the cost of the original policy, my mum declined for obvious reasons.

after sorting a new policy out, from moneysupermarket for less than the one call policy, today she had a letter from one call, demanding payment for a cancellation.... THAT THEY DID! we did not request this, all she wanted was to change her address, thats it.
no phone number to call anyone, only live chat which honestly, is no good for the elderly like my mother, she is 68 and cannot use a computer ETC.
after myself spoke to the adviser, she didn't seem to understand that we was not told about any fee during the first conversation.
long story short, a VERY disappointing experience, with fees that were not disclosed to begin with all because of an address change, which if not paid, legal action will be taken.

Very, very disappointed, we will not be using one call again.
i would understand if she moved to Beirut, but chesterfield.....really guys?!

I have had problems with the portal, I have had to ring up to get any answer, I made a complaint because I was very disappointed with a problem earlier in the year. I have used AGEAS before and yet they had not got details of my NO CLAIMS BONUS which meant I was being heavily overcharged for my insurance, this was unfair as it 's supposed to be online as with all other Motor Insurers details.

It is too presumptuous to send details of upcoming renewal, which is not right. There is no easy way for cancellation , if you get a cheaper price with another company people do not have the time to FAFF around or they might not be able to get on line.

Had the most awful experience with these people. Took out their 'reasonable' home insurance policy. and was immediately charged (separately) 40 more than was quoted. No shame. When questioned (one hour 'on-line chat' going all the way to a manager!) they persistently insisted that I had selected extra cover which I had NOT! I told them that I did not trust them and with me being 2 days into the 14 day 'cooling off' period I'd like to 'step away' and get my money back. 'No way Jose!'. that'll be a 50 fee. Thieves I tell you. stay well away.

I have had a motor policy for a few months and decided to gat a policy for my wife, so far so good. But I am now unable to access either policy on line. The contact phone number is not available due to "covid", the online chat doesn't work - have been trying for 4 hours. So how am I supposed to get in touch when they have closed or the means of contact is not working? What a useless company to deal with, never again will I deal with them, what are you supposed to do if you have to make a claim?

One of my friend put the insurance he has a accident insurance company refuse to pay when accident happened on that day they cancel the policy but they asked for money more then £600 hidden charges they not even paid any single penne his car total lost this company not a right company and under written by xs direct please when you put the insurance see the underwritten

Web site on line chat doesn't work. No one answering the phone lines. Phoned breakdown emergency (02037387300) the number on my documents and waited for them to answer for over half an hour before I gave up. Appalling service.

I used their online web chat, had to wait a few minutes due to the virus, but that was fine. Received very good service and they beat a previous quote. The person who I dealt with was very efficient and polite. Very happy with the whole experience.

I have cancelled my policy with one call today , the reason for this is as follows. I paid my years premium in March , i changed my car on August 1. The site advises i can make any changes on the on line portal so i requested a revised quote to insure the new car. I was shocked that they wanted an additional £140 so i went to the comparison sites and found a like for like quote at £291.

When i was in the portal the site advised me that it would cost around £55 to cancel so this plus £291 was still cheaper so i went ahead and insured my new car with the new insurer. I contacted one call today to cancel the existing policy to be advised that it was going to cost me £257 to cancel a policy that initially cost £326!! When i asked how they arrived at this figure it was explained that the insurer levies additional charges to the tune of some £200 to cancel having already received my £326.

I then got into a discussion about T&C's trying to convey the point that had i been made fully aware at the time of the full cost of cancelling the policy , that is how much in pound notes , i might of proceeded differently. Whilst i do not dispute the T&C's i have raised my concerns that i have been misled into believing the cost of the cancellation was £55 , it is outrageous to think i can be charged almost as much to cancel the policy then it was to insure the car. On this basis i will be contacting the FO to consider my complaint. In the meantime people please ensure you are made fully aware ! before cancelling any existing policy.

After having an accident this morning, I called to report the accident and that the garage said my car was a write off, AR4 dealt with me, as he was amazing, arranged everything for me, swiftly and reassured me that insurance companies do have brilliant service advisors. What a joke of a company filled in all details correctly on comparison website got transferred checked all details were correct and bought policy then when I received documentation there were errors i called to correct this unfortunately no joy with the adviser telling me its my fault because i filled it in incorrectly and more or less accused me of giving false details when I clearly stated i have been insured for a number of year but made a claim this year on my home insurance policy once I received documentation I called to correct this as the number of claim free years was incorrect and wanted to charge me an extra 120 pounds so i refused and asked to cancel the adviser was a little bullying and wouldn't honour the 14 colling off period threatening to sent me to dept collection agencys only taken policy out afew hours ago not even active why should have to pay 70 pounds charges for a policy that wasn't even active. The company a blood joke

I called One Call Insurance to say not to renew my car insurance next month. Josh was very helpful as I was living them . He tried to help me but I found cheaper elsewhere. I will definitely try to use One call Insurance in future.

I'd never heard of One Call but I've just taken out a comprehensive policy on a van. I was astonished at the price - about £200 less than the next best quote I could get. I also found the live chat lads - Ben and Brad excellent - quick, efficient and helpful. Well done.

As a result of questing the information used to calculate my motor insurance premium for the year commencing 01/02/2020. I am having protracted bullyboy tactics inflicted upon me and un-justied financial penalties imposed upon me, by onecall insurance of Doncaster. Here is my latest correspondence to onecall sent 03/02/2020 I confim receipt of you "discrepancy note" advising that you seek to un-ilaterally impose a further 226.59 charges on to my 01/02/2020 motor insurance renewal.

I note that you have sent the notification form a no-reply address and that you have failed to make any effort to; a) explain you reasoning for the extra 226.59 ransom demand. b) acknowledge, let alone address any of the ten point I raised with you in my 31/01/2020 email. In light of the above I have chosen to copy the financial-ombudsman complaints department in on this and all future correspondence.

For the avoidance of doubt: - I reject your latest demand for a further 226.59 premiums for insurance cover commencing 01/02/2020. - Had onecall not failed in keeping my claims history HONEST & UP TO DATE (including the incident of 04/10/2020), I would have been able to take advantage of LIKE FOR LIKE QUOTES (on comparethemarket.co.uk) commencing from as little as 350.38. - As things stand your companies antics have racked up a running total of 673.53 + 226.59 = 900.12 for cover that is available on the open market for 350.38. - I will therefore be seeking a refund of 549.74.

This is in addition to the 350 I am owed as a result of onecall incorrectly deducting 350 from my settlement arising from Mr N. F. driving into the back of my truck while I was parked at a red traffic light. - I re-request that you address all of the ten points set out in my email of 31/01/2020. - I have invested more than 20 hours, thus far, in correspondence directly relating to these matters.

I note, from a review of consumer review websites, that I am far from being alone in suffering this overt rapacious conduct from onecall. PLEASE RESPOND TO ALL POINT, POINT BY POINT, SET OUT IN MY EMAIL OF 31/01/2020 BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS 07/02/2020. Disgraceful customer services! Ridiculous practices regarding the provision of proof of address. Which they then used as an excuse for cancelling my insurance and retaining ALL of the premiums paid, which I paid in advance for the full year. They also retained ALL of the premiums paid for Platinum Breakdown Cover for the whole year, which I had also paid in advance for the full year. THIS COMPANY STOLE MY MONEY. Having informed them of my change of address, they increased my premium, which again I paid in total (moved round the corner, to a house with off road parking and an alarmed garage).

My royal mail made a hash of my mail and for a period of 2/3 weeks were returning all of it to the senders, by mistake. One Call then sent me a letter threatening to cancel my insurance and demanding I provide further proof of my address, I called them and confirmed I had received the letter which they had sent to the address which they had on record for me, as stated on my policy, which I had informed them about, and for which they had charged me an additional 50 approx., for informing them about.

I explained that there had been a problem with the post and that as I was now calling them to discuss the contents of the letter and quoting the reference number and confirming that their records of my personal details were correct. They weren't interested in anything I had to say and despite having fully paid all of the yearly premiums in advance, they threatened to cancel my insurance if I didn't provide them with further documentary evidence of my address within 7 days.

I then uploaded a photo of a utility bill onto their website, a few days later I received a letter (at my address, which they had on my policy) informing me that they had cancelled my insurance. (before the time span had expired) I called their so called Customer Services team, they claimed they didn't receive my uploaded letter, and despite my protestations weren't the slightest bit interested in anything I had to say. DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE!

I have never experienced a company who talk to you and treat you as if you are a criminal attempting to defraud them! Out of what? Your own money, which they already had. A very deliberate abuse of their own company policies (exclusive to them, to win their own little award) but more significantly they believe they are justified in taking your money, and not providing the service for which you have paid, they then keep your money, and claim that you are at fault for not jumping through their hoops They also attempt to claim that they are enforcing the law! Ludicrous, I have never even heard of another company employing this tactic.

Its nothing short of extortion. I will never use this company again. I have advised everyone I know never to use them. I would strongly advise anyone even considering using them, DON'T!

How you can forget storm damage to your conservatory two years ago is beyond me. But that's whats happened and I forgot to mention it in my application for house insurance. It was found and resulted in an increase in the premium and an administration fee. That will teach me to be mindful in the future, I thought! Having done the maths my finale premium was still cheaper them the old house insurance.

But was unsure how the additional money was going to be collected. Did I have to authorize anything? I went onto OneCall On Line chat, very quick and responsive, talked to their advisor KI6, a courteous, professional and friendly character. I had a very pleasing experience and yes, sorted in a jiffy. Thank you.

After making some amendments to the renewal details - reduction in mileage, and removal of some optional cover, the price dropped to within a few pounds of the best quote I got using GoCompare. My house insurance was due and I went first through all the usual sites, go compare etc to see what prices were like at the moment. I got a feel for the prices and then contacted one call, with whom I was insured with at the moment and asked for a renewal quote. I had an online chat with Nikita Na6 and she gave me the renewal quote which was much higher than last year.

She then asked what my best price was and I told her, she reviewed the quote and gave me a price matching the best quote and also this included home emergency, which was not in my cheapest quote elsewhere. She was very efficient and gave me a good price too.

I have been with One Call for a year now and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Admittedly I've not had to make a claim but I have just contacted them regarding my renewal quote and despite the pandemic they were easy to get hold of and sorted out my query quickly. It also ended up with an even better renewal quote. You can manage the policy yourself online as well.
